Scripture:

Prov. 25:5
Take away the wicked from before the king, And his throne will be established in righteousness.

Comment:

Jesus, the King of kings, has made us kings.

Rev. 1:5-6
5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

We need to get rid of “the wicked” if we are to serve God in the right way. That means, among other things, not to be guided by worldly thinking. Unfortunately, this world’s way of thinking and doing things has a big influence on the church. There must be a change in order for the Kingdom of God to expand.

To get rid of “the wicked” also means that we need to expose religious spirits and command them to leave. What religious spirits inspire us to think and do, seem to be really good to begin with, but their final intention is to destroy. The religious spirits have the same principal leader as the occult spirits, i.e. the devil. The only difference is that the religious spirits adapts to the church in order to attack from within.

It is about time for the believers, and for the churches, to fight against the evil spiritual world. We have received authority and we must use it. Then the Lordship of Jesus will manifest in our nation.

Scripture:

Prov. 20:8
A king who sits on the throne of judgment Scatters all evil with his eyes.

Comment:

When we read the scripture above, it is natural to interpret ”A king who sits on the throne” as Jesus. He is the King of kings, and He will, in time, sit on the judgment seat and scatter all evil. However, we as believers also are kings now.

Rev. 1:5-6
5 … To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

What role do we have as kings? A king reigns. We have received authority to rule, not over people but over the evil spiritual world. Jesus has conquered the enemy, but we have a mission to stop the enemy here on earth.

We have a mission to stop the works of the evil spiritual world. But first we need to see that there is a battle going on. It is time for us to see the real reason behind people’s sufferings.
