Spiritual Warfare in the Book of Psalms – 156

Filed under: Spiritual Warfare School — kellporten @ 12:47

Scripture:

Ps. 74:4
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

Comment:

Religious spirits try to replace the genuine life in the church with a false one.

Evil spirits don’t have the ability to create but to pervert, and that is what they do in churches that allow them.

The religious spirits have no typical behavior. They adjust themselves to the different forms of the churches. They can ‘help’ people jump and shout, but they can just as well ‘help’ people sit and be quiet.

Religious spirits try to choke the spiritual gifts that God has given to people, and they try to replace those gifts with a false anointing. There seems to be no big difference in the external appearance, at least not to begin with, but the real difference is like day and night, or rather, like life and death.

There is a lot spoken about unity in the body of Christ. The first step to unity must be taken within the local church, and it must be the unity of the Holy Spirit. Not until the religious spirits have been cast out from a church, will there be a real chance for that kind of unity. And not until then will we see churches become what God has meant for them to be. Those churches will also have a true unity between themselves.

When will the religious spirits be cast out of our churches? It will happen when the believers have been taught about the invisible spiritual war, and when they, because of that knowledge, use their authority against the evil spirits instead of accusing people.
