Spiritual Warfare in the Book of Psalms – 155

Filed under: Spiritual Warfare School — kellporten @ 13:46

Scripture:

Ps. 74:4
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

Comment:

Churches and church meetings are not automatically free from evil spirits. Religious spirits probably are the worst of them all. They act in the ‘right way’ and they adjust to the form of the meetings at each church. They want to replace God’s pattern and specific plan with a false one for each church.

There are many ways for the religious spirits to pervert God’s plan for a church. One way is to make a church copy another church’s prosperous concept. Just because the Holy Spirit gives a church a certain concept, does not necessarily mean that concept, or plan, will work in another church. It might work, but it must not be taken for granted. The danger lies in the fact that it seems like such a good idea. But, it’s only good when it’s inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Another way to make a church go wrong is to use prejudice and ignorance. The evil spirits use those things and make them even stronger. Evil spirits also encourage the people of God to reject teachings that would help them go further into His plan.

There are, like we have already said, many ways for the religious spirits to act inside the churches. We need to become aware of their existence.
