Spiritual Warfare in the Book of Psalms – part 120

Filed under: Spiritual Warfare School — kellporten @ 15:10

Ps. 46:8
Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth

(Swedish version: Come, behold the works of the LORD, what amazing things he does on earth)

Let’s never forget whose work it is when the victory in the spiritual warfare becomes visible. It’s the work of the LORD!

When we use the authority that has been given to us, and the evil spiritual world therefore will lose it’s grip over people and places, we will notice the change. It might not come immediately, but it will become evident in due time. And then it is not us who should be in the limelight. People need to understand it’s the “work of the LORD”.

The Swedish version talks about amazing works while the King James version talks about desolation. There is no contradiction between those translations. When God is desolating the evil spiritual world, people will be amazed.
Since the evil spiritual world is behind most of people’s ‘impossible’ situations, the impossible becomes possible, when God’s children take authority over the evil spirits. The result will be something that people see and respond to.

Finally let’s state that people can see as many signs and wonders as they like and still refuse to receive Jesus as their Savior. When we have used our authority to set people’s will free, so they can choose freely, then the choice is theirs.
