How should we deal with Satan?

The bible tells us to resist him.

Jam. 4:7
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

What position of authority do we, as Christians, have towards Satan?

Every believer has authority over Satan.

Rev. 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony …

Can Satan cause a problem where there is no solution?

No, Satan cannot cause a problem that our Supreme Commander has not prepared a solution for. We will be able to resist Satan and make him flee.

1 Pet. 5:9

What breaks down the power of Satan?

• The blood of the Lamb – Rev. 12:11
• The word of their testimony – Rev. 12:11
• The Holy Spirit in us – 1 John 4:4
• Our faith – 1 John 5:5
• Preaching an teaching – Acts 26:18

Can we bind Satan?

No, God has planned that an angel shall bind Satan at the beginning of the Millennium. But, we can command him to flee.

Where will Satan end up?

He will be cast into the lake of fire.

Rev. 20:10
The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
