The two spiritual kingdoms – part 2

Filed under: Spiritual Warfare School — kellporten @ 15:01

How do the two spiritual kingdoms relate to each other?

The two spiritual kingdoms are involved in a constant war against each other.

What if I don’t want to be involved in a spiritual war?

Your attitude towards the spiritual war does not change anything. You ARE involved in a war. The fact that you belong to one of the spiritual kingdoms automatically makes you involved in the battle.

How important is it that we are aware of the spiritual kingdoms and their constant presence?

Being aware of the spiritual kingdoms and of their presence is extremely important. We need to be aware so we will be able to understand what is going on around us, regardless of whether it is about the relationship we have with our neighbor or what is going on between nations of the world.

Can people who don’t belong to the kingdom of God understand the war between the two spiritual kingdoms?

The answer is, Yes and No. People who actively belong to the kingdom of the devil are often aware of the war between the kingdoms. But, in order to fully understand the war, and to be able to see it from the right viewpoint, we must receive the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor. 2:13-14
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

What do we mean by ”People who actively belong to the kingdom of the devil”?

People can belong to the kingdom of the devil in two different ways:

  • There are many who have not chosen the kingdom of the devil. They belong to that kingdom just because they have not received Jesus.
  • There are also those who have made a deliberate choice to serve the devil. They are not ignorant. They have chosen the devil instead of Jesus.

Can a person who belongs to the kingdom of God be affected by the kingdom of the devil?

We are affected by the kingdom of the devil because we are involved in a constant war. And, even Christians can have problems with demons.
