Spiritual Warfare in the Book of Psalms – part 25

Filed under: Spiritual Warfare in the Book of Psalms — kellporten @ 13:01

Ps. 5:9 NIV
Not a word from their mouth can be trusted, their heart is filled with destruction. Their throat is an open grave.

This part is not really meant for you who belong to Jesus in the first hand, but for those who believe they will benefit by serving the devil. On the other hand, you need to see clearly the truth given here if you get into a situation where you will help people who quite consciously have been serving the devil.

The devil is a thief who wants to steal, to kill and to destroy (John 10:10). He is really after everyone, even after those who serve him. He will not show them any mercy. There is no mercy or justice in the devil. All there is, is evil. Taking sides with the devil in order to avoid attacks is totally useless. In the beginning it might seem as if the devil gives benefits, but in the long run it always leads to misery and destruction.

We want to recommend the book He came to set the captives free by Rebecca Brown. It is about a woman doctor who helps one of her patients (who has been deeply involved in occultism) to be set free. Even if there are different opinions about the book, and you have to read it with discernment, it still describes very clearly how the enemy attacks one of his own.
