Scripture:
Ps. 8:2
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Comment:
In order to be used by God in spiritual warfare we need to:
- be saved
- have a mouth
- realize there is an enemy
- use our mouth to speak commands against the enemy
- believe that God puts His power on our commands
The evil spiritual world does anything it can to make us believe that spiritual warfare is complicated, and that it is only for a few experts. The Word of God says, casting out demons is a sign that follows everyone, who believes.
Mark 16:17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils …
Regardless of what God has called us to do, and regardless of what vision the local church has, it is absolutely necessary to be active in spiritual warfare. It is a condition for to serve in our personal calling, and essential, for the church to go forth in its vision.
